Good morning from Mexico City. It’s Wednesday, and on Wednesdays we ask questions. Today’s question segment is inspired by something I stumbled upon on Instagram. . It was a snippet of Trevor Noah interviewing Oprah and he asked her this? What would you say is the one common characteristic you find that gets people to where they want to go? She gave a powerful response. Now this is a woman that has interviewed thousands and thousands of people, so of course when you ask her a question like that, you usually get a great wisdom bomb.
Her response was this: people get to where they want to go because they know where they want to go. Most people, a lot of people, are being driven by what they think they should do, what other people say they should do, what they’ve carried in their mind for a long time. But the most important question you can ever ask yourself is this, what do I really want? What do I really want? , Oprah went on to say, once you have established that for yourself, you have everything you do, every choice you make, move you in the direction of what you say your vision is. When you do that, the forces of life rise up to meet you.
Friends say I live my life out loud. That’s because I’m a curious, adventurous person and, as an appreciator, I simply love to share what lights me up. Consider this is your invitation into my fun, multi-faceted world.
